The sounds of sirens could be heard clearly in the distance, the Senshi held their ground. They stood in complete silence, not hearing or seeing.

The red clad Senshi broke the pending silence. "She's a liar. There's no way that that thing could have injected her with that virus."

"No, Rei-chan, it's true. I can feel it. The virus is much stronger than that lady thought. She spoke like Usako would wake up. Though my mind tells me one thing, my heart tells me another. My heart tells me that my Usako will never wake up. Even with that cure she spoke of I still sense that Usako is beyond our help," Tuxedo Kamen whispered, tears of sadness tumbled down his cheeks.

"We gotta leave or the police will find us," said Jupiter. "We can go to my place, it's the closest and no one will ask questions if we're quiet."

The Senshi began their short walk to Makoto's place. They silently walked down the halls and into her apartment.

The Senshi gratefully transformed back into their street clothes without a word. Setsuna took a seat in an overstuffed armchair with baby Hotaru sleeping peacfully in her arms.

Eternal Sailor Moon slept unmoving on the couch with her beloved clasped on to her hand, praying for her safety.

"I think it would be a good idea for us to call back our friend. She seemed to have knowledge on this virus as she called it," suggested Ami after examinimg her ill friend.

The remaning Senshi just nodded their heads.

Ami pulled out her henshin pen and concentrated on the girl's face. In the back of her head she felt a tingling sensation. It seemed to say to her "We're coming," then it disappeared as quickly as it had come.

A portal grew into existence in the corner of the living room and out stepped two women instead of one. The one they had met at the fight stood next to another girl with shoulder length dark purple hair. Their clothes were similar in the fact that they both wore mini skirts and tank tops.

"Did you find the flower for my Usako?" Mamoru asked with hopefulness dancing in his voice.

"No, we were unable to find it. This planet has changed greatly since our last visit," responded the green haired girl to his question.

"But, we have found an alternate solution to our problem," jumped in the purple haired girl.

"Who are you, and why are you helping us?" asked a confused Michiru.

"We need to talk to the Moon Princess in hopes of curing a problem we have," said the green haired girl.

"Do you have names?" asked Rei rather rudely.

"Yes we do, I'm Michi and this is Timara," said the green haired girl as she gestured to her friend. "We have asked some of our friends to come and help," Michi said. "They should be arriving any moment now." She smiled at Mamoru, hoping to brighten his sprit and bring back his hope.

Another portal opened up a few feet from the ceiling. Two women tumbled out on to the plush carpet. "What was that for, Thorn?" asked one of the women.

"It's not my fault that you can't open portals properly," retorted Thorn.

"Girls, this is hardly the time to be fighting," said Timara timidly.

The newcomers continued to share verbal blows.

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" shouted Michi. "Thistle, Thorn, if you want to go back home I strongly suggest that you sit down, shut up and get to work!" Michi's icy blue eyes blasted with fury.

"Sheesh, if looks could kill!" snickered Thorn.

"Yeah, then we'd already be dead." A smile of sarcasm spread over Thistle's lips as she sat down on the floor next to Thorn.

Thistle and Thorn sat down opposite each other with their legs crossed. With their hands folded in a prayer like fashion they chanted louder with each passing second. A bright pink light formed between them. Steadly it grew into a bluish purple flower strongly resembling a rose. The chanting subsided and the pink glow faded.

Michi bent down and picked up the flower. It rested harmlessly in her palm for a fraction of a second before she crushed it into a mangled blue pulp.

"We put so much effort into the creation of that flower and she crushed it!" exclaimed Thistle. She opened her mouth to say something but promptly closed it when she saw the symbol Timara drew across her throat.

Michi walk over to where Sailor Moon lay. She sat next to her; with her index finger she put a dab of the pulp onto Sailor Moon's pale lips.

Sailor Moon seemed to stir from her sleep, her eyelids fluttered but did not open.

Timara appeared out of nowhere with a cup of steaming hot water.

Michi dropped what remained of the crushed flower into the cup and stired it with her finger. She propped Sailor Moon's head up on her lap and helped her drink the makeshift tea.

Once again Sailor Moon's eyelids fluttered but this time they opened, revealing a pair of confused blue eyes.

"Where am I?" she asked dazedly.

"You're at Makoto-chan's house, on her sofa," smiled a girl down at her.

Mamoru's face appeared. "How are you feeling, odango-atama?" He smiled at her.

"Better now that you're here, but what happened to me?"

"Your questions will all be answered in good time, but for now you must rest," said the strange girl.

Sailor Moon transformed back to Usagi and shut her eyes, welcoming peaceful sleep.

Well there you have it, the second to last chapter to Moonlight Nightmares. Hope you liked it . Yes I know I left off at a really dumb point but I'm having a serious case of writer's block.
