Hello, sorry it took me so long to get this out but I've
been away. Well before we get started I'd like to thank Michi and
Timara for letting me put them in my fic and also for not ending my
feeble existence on this mudball for finding out their little secret.
And no they are not like Michiru and Haruka. Tsk tsk tsk what sick minds
you people have. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
Sailor Moon is not mine, don't sue me please cause it'll just be a
waste of good money that could be put to better use.
Nexia, Nix, Ash McKensie, Poppy Andrews, Ethan Kren, Miel Mitsue,
Pagen, Lilly and James are property of Michi Kenshi and they are
copyrighted (so in other words don't take them!) OH yeah Ash is a real
person and he really is this annoying!
On with the show!
Wait, hold on I forgot something. All the Senshi are about 17-19.
Usagi lives across the hall from Mamoru. (Like she ever spends time in
her own place.) Michiru and Haruka still live together. Ami still lives
with her mom, Rei is still at the temple and is dating Yuuchirou (I
think that's how you spell it). Minako lives with Usagi (don't think,
that way it's bad for your health). Makoto still lives in the same place
as always. Hotaru and Mieou live in a mansion on the outskirts of town.
The cats live with Minako and Usagi.
Moonlight Nightmares Ch.5
The night dragged on for what seemed like ages to the senshi; sleep eluded them with worries of their leader's health. When dawn peeked its morning orange rays over the horizon, the once clean apartment was in complete disarray: blankets filled every possible inch of floor space blocking all entry and exit of the room. 7 senshi, one man, 4 strange newcomers and a baby were eager to leave the confinement of the claustrophobic area in hopes of seeing the outside again. Those hopes were dashed when the woman named Timara spoke against leaving the building and entering the public where anyone could easily follow them back to their current position.
The guardian of time was becoming concerned; with Hotaru an infant she wasn't sure that all the Senshi including the newcomers could defeat any new threats that were thrown at them. As Mieou pondered the question in her ever inquisitive mind baby Hotaru began to whine and cry. Not exactly knowing how to care for an infant, since she'd never been around long enough to learn, she panicked. She rocked the baby gently remembering Neo-Queen Serenity doing the same thing when the princess cried.
Baby Hotaru only cried louder waking Usagi from her sleep.
Mamoru walked over to Meiou, took Hotaru in his arms and began to whisper in her ear. The small child cooed and giggled in his arms. "I think she's hungry," he announced to no one in particular. "Do you think she eats solid foods?"
Michi came over to see the reason for all this commotion; her green hair dangled just within Hotaru's reach. A hand of chubby fingers grabbed on to the shiny hair and pulled it towards her mouth.
"OOOOWWWWWWW!" A high-pitched scream came from Michi's lips and echoed through the room.
The sound scared the infant into letting the hair go and screaming in protest of the sounds around her. The sounds that escaped her lips were louder than Usagi's cries when she tripped on the street or did something equally as klutzy. Abruptly the child stopped crying to stare at someone behind the green-haired...
Woman.
Michi instantly felt a familiar presence behind her. "Oh great, now Ash is here. Just what we didn't need!" She groaned.
"Aaaahhhh, why the sad face petit angle du nuit?" asked a male voice with a hint of sarcasm.
Michi whirled around to see a man who had white hair pulled back into a ponytail. Green eyes surveyed the world, taking in every last detail like a tourist visiting a foreign country. Some people had said that looking into Ash's eyes was like looking into his soul. Dressed in black jeans with a leather jacket he looked quite handsome to all the single women in the room.
"Can't you find someone else to annoy? I'm kinda busy at this moment and I don't need you to mess things up!" It was evident that Michi wasn't on good terms with Ash.
"No," he said plainly, "And I didn't come to be annoying, I came to check up on you." At this point it was becoming pretty clear to the group in the room that Ash felt something for Michi but she didn't feel it for him.
"I'm a big girl, I can take care of myself. I don't need you pampering me, I'm perfectly all right on my own. Feel free to leave any time!" the stubborn female said.
"I know you can take care of yourself but I didn't come here by my own choice. Poppy sent me to make sure that you don't overexert yourself while you're healing," he retorted, becoming slightly annoyed with her attitude.
"Why didn't she come herself?" Michi smirked.
"You know very well that Poppy is weaker in strength that you are and would have no luck in making sure you rest." His temper began to flare. "And besides, I'm the only one strong enough to actually open portals home without killing myself in the process." He smiled to himself knowing that he had Michi backed into a corner.
"I take it that you had other things in mind besides doing what Poppy asked you to do?" She raised an inquisitive eyebrow at him.
"Me? I could never do anything like that," he said in a high pitched voice.
"And I'm supposed to believe that am I?"
"Whether you believe it or not you need to eat and that's exactly what you're going to do now!" His words meant business. Ash grabbed Michi's thin wrist and began to drag her towards the door.
"I'm not going with you!" she said firmly. "And besides I'm not hungry."
"You need to eat even though your mind tells you you're not hungry. Your body's going to tell you and you won't be able to control yourself." His voice became very sympathetic towards the woman he dragged along. "If you won't eat voluntarily I'll have to force feed you!" A mischievous glint appeared in his green eyes.
"I know you just love to do that but... I'm not about to give you that chance." She returned the evil smile than slapped off his hand.
"It's not polite to hit," he breathed through clenched teeth. "Let's go before I get angry." A portal similar to the one Michi used opened up in front of them. Ash roughly shoved her in and quickly followed.
"Don't worry, they'll be back. They always are," Timara said as if this happened on a regular basis.
"ASH...ASH...Ash...Ash?" called Michi to an empty room. When Michi woke up in an empty room she began to get suspicious of her whereabouts. The room she was in was elegantly decorated in dark green. In the far corner of the room was a queen-sized bed, next to it stood a night table and a reading lamp. On the other side of the room was a popasaun chair. Left from the chair was a hallway which probably led to a bathroom or an exit. She sat up straight as she heard a key scraping in the door; waves of pain flooded her mind. She was starving and getting weaker with each passing moment. She slumped back down on the bed and waited. The pain subsided and she could hear footsteps coming from the hallway. Michi vision was beginning to blur and fade, she could barely make out Ash's face staring down at her with a concerned expression on his face. He spoke to her but she couldn't hear what he was saying. She felt Ash cradle her head, a warm refreshing liquid was offered to her lips. She drank thirstily like a savage animal, never being able to get enough of that precious liquid. Slowly her vision began to return, along with her hearing and other senses. "Ash?" Her voice came out in a harsh whisper. "Why?" her eyes pleaded with him hoping desperately for an answer.
"Shhhhh, you need to rest now, to regain your strength." He smiled and gently lay her back down.
To Michi the bed was extremely comfortable. Sleep was beginning to close in. "Ash? Please don't leave me." Her voice was barely audible as she slipped of to sleep, with her hand curled around Ash's.
"Don't worry, I'll never leave you," he whispered back to her sleeping form.
Mamoru watched his sleeping princess who had just fallen back to sleep after all the commotion. He noticed her color was returning back from a pasty white to a healthy pink, her chest rose rhythmically with every breath. "Oh Usako, you're so beautiful in this morning light. How I wish I could wake up to you like this every morning for the rest of my life," he whispered to her.
"If you want you can, but you gotta ask first," she whispered back.
"Oh you're awake. Gomen, I didn't mean to wake you up," he apologized.
"Mamo-chan! You didn't wake me up. I wanted to wake up so I could see your handsome face again," she giggled and sat up, leaning on him. She wrapped two frail arms around him implying her point.
"Ahwwww." Minako and Makoto cooed over the couple on the couch. "You do know that the bedroom is free if you want to use it, but you gotta wash the sheets afterward." Makoto put in with a devious smile.
"You have such a sick mind, Mako-chan!" Usagi chided and threw a pillow at her.
"Why don't you just admit you like the sound of my idea?" She joked back, tossing the pillow to its sender.
"Enough! Please, we don't need to attract any extra attention with a pillow fight." Timara put in with a note of unquestionable duty in her voice.
**************************************
"My plan to execute the Sailor Senshi involves cooperation from all of you," spoke the new queen of the Negaverse. "To carry out this well-laid plan you must all lend me your strength."
The crowd whispered among themselves, considering to obey. Silence dawned over the crowd when a purple flame grew on the Queen's upturned palm.
As a sign of respect for the queen the crowd bowed again.
"Lizzar, how long until the destruction of this place?"
"Exactly 2.46539 days Earth time until destruction."
The Queen diverted her attention and focused it onto drawing out her true power. Out of the depths of her mind tendrils of dark purple flames cascaded from her hands.
The fire split into millions of different streams, each wrapping itself around a different minion of the Negaverse, drawing out every last drop of life force and energy from evil living bodies.
A thick layer of gray dust covered the dark shiny floor; the Queen stood alone in front of her throne. A hauntingly frightening laugh drew itself up from the bowels of her stomach echoing in the empty room.
